Our second guest speaker was Chris Elliot Chief Reporter of the Cambridge News.

Chris gave a great insight on how to get articles published in the newspaper.
Top tips included
- No more than 300-400 words
- Pictures really help
- Make sure the first paragraph catches the readers attention
- Write it in the body of an email and not in a seperate document
- Make sure the subject line is eye catching
- Get to know what the different reporters special interests are and feed them relevant stories.
