East of England Community Grants Programme assists small voluntary or community sector organisations run by people from the community they support. It supports activities which help unemployed or economically inactive people over 16 to overcome barriers and move closer to main stream skills provision. This can include initial engagement activities such as, help with basic skills, taster work experience and confidence building. Groups can apply for up to £12,000 for project delivery. This is a European Social Fund, co financed by the Learning Skills Council managed by Tribal’s Community Development Team.  The closing date for the final applications is: 12.00pm on Friday 19th March.
