Experienced Book Keeper/Administrator (Part-time, maternity leave cover)
12 hours per week Pay: £9.45 per hour
A small, Cambridge-based charity seeks a book keeper/administrator to carry out day-to-day financial and administrative tasks involved in running the charity.
Key skills: knowledge of double entry book keeping system, accurate recording and managing of all financial transactions in SAGE accounts including Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Nominal Ledger, Banking, Credit control, Journal, Wage posting, processing payments and receipts, Trial balance, Period End procedures, prepayments and accruals. Prepare Year End accounts for auditors.
Good working knowledge of Excel, Access and Word.
Good telephone manner and able to be calm speaking to potential clients in emotional distress. Ability to work unsupervised. Flexible working.
