Part-time Coordinator

Organisation: Home Start Cambridgeshire

Home-Start Cambridgeshire provides a unique service for families; we recruit and train volunteers to support parents with young children at home. We are recruiting a part-time Co-ordinator, based at our Ely office but required to travel to families across East Cambridgeshire and South Fenland.

Hours of work: 15 hours per week, across 3 days a week

Salary: The salary is based on the full-time equivalent in a range from £19,817 - £23,188 (£8,034 - £9,401 for 15 hours), depending on skills and experience.

The post-holder will work within a small team, supported by the teams in our other two offices in the County. The key responsibilities for the post are:

We are looking for a well-organised person familiar with office systems who can demonstrate empathy and good communication and interpersonal skills.  Experience of working with vulnerable families, parenting experience and knowledge of the voluntary sector would be advantages. Use of own car (insured for business use) and clean driving license are required; travel expenses will be reimbursed. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
