Treasurer & Secretary

Organisation: Cambridge Sea Cadet Corps

Volunteer Treasurer or Secretary

Cambridge Sea Cadets has proudly been running for more than eighty years. Our ongoing aim is to provide young people with life-long skills within a safe, fun and friendly environment – skills that will equip them for today’s world and carry them forward throughout their lives. Through an incredible variety of activities and adventures they learn self-confidence, teamwork, loyalty, respect, self-discipline and how to be the best version of themselves.

The Unit is supported by a civilian Unit Management Team (UMT) which works closely with the Officer-in-Charge to provide support to events, fundraising and maintenance of the premises, equipment and financial health of the Unit. The Unit Treasurer and Secretary are trustees and members of the Unit Management Team.

One of the UMT members is relinquishing their appointment in the coming months so there is a requirement for a new member to take on the role of Treasurer or Secretary. Relevant financial or administrative experience would be helpful, but not essential.
